Northside Family Medicine is conveiniently located just west of I-25 and just north of 120th at 122nd and Pecos Street. Given our proximity to I-25 it gives easy access from Westminster, Thornton, Northglenn, Broomfield, Denver, Brighton and Commerce City.


We are open Monday through Friday in general. Tim Lewan, MD  usually has availability  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Erika Banka, PA-C is usually available Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays. We offer extended hours including 8AM appointments and 6PM appointments on most days but you would need to call our office to arrange in advance at 303-428-8536. You can now schedule an appointment to see either our Board Certified Family Medicine Physician Tim Lewan, MD or our certified physician assistant, Erika Banka.  Scheduling is available up to 45 minutes before the appointment time.  If it is closer to the appointment time please call our office to ensure you can make it on time!

Several things to also keep in mind BEFORE scheduling the first time.

1) If you need to be seen the same day or the next day and an appointment is not available online for Dr. Lewan or Erika Banka, PA-C remember that on any normal office hour day at Northside Family Medicine, we will get you in to be seen that day if you call by 3PM.

3) We are not accepting new Medicare patients (only established patients), Medicaid patients, and certain Humana HMO plans so please don't schedule online for any of these insurances. If you have a Humana HMO plan call our office and we can find out if we can see you.

4) The connection is encrypted for scheduling but any use of the internet has risk of someone seeing your information. Encryption makes this much less likely and you are only giving us your name, main phone number to contact you at, date of birth, and your email address.  This information will not be used for any other purpose than to schedule your appointment and correspond with our office.

5) When you schedule an appointment online, our system gives you the option of sending you an email appointment confimation and/or reminder. These emails have no security features and would be as easy for anyone to intercept and read as any other email.  While we recommend you use the email confirmation and appointment reminders when you schedule, you must realize it is not secure.

6) You should review all of our office policies and privacy policies and agree with them before scheduling an appointment to see us in Westminster at our office. You may return to this website by clicking on the link on the first page of www.northsidefammed.com.  If you have any concerns please call us to discuss before agreeing to anything.  We do our best to keep you informed! 

7) Please be aware of the short policy review on the folowing pages when scheduling your appointment with either Tim Lewan, MD or Erika Banka, PA-C. 

8) You will want to consider keeping the username and password the scheduling website gives you if you need to reschedule your appointment or if you want to make an appointment at a later time.  If you forget your pasword you can just sign in with your information the next time again or call us if you need to reschedule.
